• IX training course on “Women in Port Management”

Curso Mujeres Le Havre

The Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (S/CIP) in the context of the institutional capacity building activities in gender equality, are pleased to present the 9th training course on “Women in Port Management” to be held in Le Havre, France from June 26 to July 07, 2017. In the cooperation framework with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the IPER Institute, SOGET Foundation and Port of Le Havre, the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) is requesting scholarship nominees to attend the course. This is an excellent capacity building opportunity for female port officials from CIP Member States.

The selected candidates will receive a scholarship that includes the following:

  • Tuition fee
  • Accommodation, including breakfast and lunch
  • Per Diem necessary for any other expenses

Please take note that the scholarship does not include the air ticket to France nor the train ticket to arrive to Le Havre. These costs must be covered by each participant.

Candidates interested in participating in this course must fill the attached nomination form and to have the authorization of the institution. The deadline for submission is April 07, 2017.

Please note that the candidate must be proficient in English.
