"Cooperation for the development of competitive, safe and sustainable ports in the Americas"

31st Advanced Course on Port Operations and Management

Le Havre 31 Course

In the context of the activities of the OAS Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (S/CIP) to strengthen institutional capacities of its Member States, I am pleased to inform you about the 31st Advanced Course on Port Operations and Management that will take place under the S/CIP cooperation framework with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and Port of Le Havre.

The 31st Advanced Course on Port Operations and Management will run from 11 September to 13 October 2017.

This is an excellent capacity building opportunity for CIP Member States officials.  The educational methods implemented – a combined core syllabus completed by optional subjects – make it possible to cover major port functions very extensively. Candidates should have good working knowledge of either English or French.

The interested applicant will have to start two procedures at the same time:

  1. Submission of the Application Form including supporting documentation, officially signed and stamped, by email (martrain@imo.org) and the original forms must be received by the Secretary-General of IMO no later than June 2nd, 2017 (deadline).
