Hemispheric cooperation for competitive, secure, sustainable and inclusive ports in the Americas.

Strategic Partners

With nearly 100 public and private sector members from leading port and maritime institutions, the CIP promotes port development by facilitating policy dialog and public and/or private collaboration at the highest level.

As with Associate Members, Strategic Partners have direct access to decision makers and industry leaders throughout North, Central, and South America, and the Caribbean, when entering a cooperative partnership with the CIP, i.e. by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate by donating or joining a project of mutual interest. A strategic partner will carry out a joint act or said project with the CIP.

Through their collaboration with the CIP, Strategic Partners may promote themselves among key stakeholders in the Hemisphere. Strategic Partners may also present at any of the CIP technical hemispheric conferences, seminars, and workshops, co-organize events and become part of a hemispheric community of practice.
