Port Security Workshop

The Port Security Workshop, organized by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (S/CIP) of the Organization of American States (OAS), provides participants with effective security management techniques including port security operations improvement. Reinforced through participant activities and presentations, each lesson offers an interactive platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange. The 2017 Featured Topic will be Cyber Risk and Threats in Ports, including:

  • Cyber Risk Awareness;
  • Maritime Cyber Risk Management;
  • Cyber Defense Best Practices.

Target Audience: Port Security Managers and Directors, Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs), and Deputy PFSOs of OAS Member States with a direct role in port security operations and management.
