• XVIII Ibero-American Course on Technology, Operations and Environmental Management on Ports

In the context of the activities of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (S/CIP) of the OAS to strengthen the institutional capacities of its Member States, we are pleased to inform you of the XVII Ibero-American Course on Technology, Operations and Environmental Management on Ports. It is organized jointly with State Ports of Spain and the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) of the Organization of American States (OAS) in collaboration with the Port Authority of Santander.

In this edition of the Ibero-American Course on Technology, Operations and Environmental Management, students will also have the opportunity to attend the III International Congress on Industrial Security in Ports, which will be held in Pazo de Mariñán (A Coruña), on May 8 and 9, 2018. The Congress organizers will offer to the 20 scholarship recipients: free registration to the sessions of the Congress and access to all the activities (including lunches and dinners); and the trip from A Coruña to Santander on May 10.

In addition, accommodation will be offered at Pazo de Mariñán, from May 7 to 10, 2018, to a maximum of 12 scholarship recipients (assigned in strict order of receipt of the request by the S/CIP). Please note that the 8 scholarship recipients who are not granted must cover their accommodation expenses and transportation from the hotel to the Congress venue.

 The deadline for applications is March 23 , 2018.

Note that the course and Congress will be held in Spanish only, so it is indispensable requirement to master the language.
