Alexandra Chaires, Intern
Alexandra holds a degree in International Relations from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO) in Guadalajara, Mexico. Throughout her career, she has gained solid experience in both qualitative and quantitative research and analysis through her collaboration with various institutions. In 2024, she completed an internship at the Embassy of Mexico in the United States as an analyst in the political affairs section, where she refined her skills in navigating diplomatic environments. She has also worked with the Wixárika Regional Council in the defense of Wirikuta, a sacred Indigenous territory, conducting research, advocacy activities, and media engagement, as well as analyzing territorial challenges. Additionally, she worked as a market research consultant at Socialinks Consulting, collaborating on various projects with private institutions. Through her work with the Inter-American Commission of Ports (CIP), Alexandra aims to expand her experience in international cooperation and the development of port policies, enhancing her knowledge in infrastructure and international trade.
