Taller sobre Salvamento Marítimo, Lucha contra Incendios, Respuesta Ambiental y Gestión de Siniestros

La Comisión Interamericana de Puertos (CIP) de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) en colaboración con la Asociación Americana de Salvamento (ASA por sus siglas en inglés) organizará un taller con altos funcionarios de las Autoridades Portuarias de los 34 países de las Américas, los miembros de la ASA, y el personal del CIP. Durante este evento de 3 días, expertos en salvamento, remoción de restos de naufragio, Lucha contra Incendios marítimos y la comunidad de respuesta ambiental presentarán mejores prácticas, estudios de caso y lecciones aprendidas. Se resaltará la gestión eficaz de siniestros, incluyendo la labor del gobierno y las perspectivas de las autoridades portuarias. Asimismo, se discutirán temas legales, incluyendo el derecho de salvamento, remoción de restos de naufragio, y el impacto de diversas convenciones internacionales. Los asistentes serán invitados a participar en las sesiones de trabajo para compartir experiencias propias. La CIP y la ASA se complacen en patrocinar este evento inaugural de su alianza, el cual será una fantástica oportunidad para establecer contactos y para el intercambio de información.
