CECIP Vice Chairs

Dr. Juan Curbelo del Bosco

First Vice Chair of the Executive Board of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CECIP)

President - National Ports Administration (ANP) of Uruguay

On this occasion, I would like to express my most sincere gratitude for the trust and support I received when I was re-elected as First Vice-Chairman of the Executive Board of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CECIP) for the 2023-2026 term, during the recent XIII Regular Meeting of the Committee, held in Roatan, Honduras, by acclamation of the 21 Member States attending the Meeting.

This challenge confronts us with the need to continually adapt to the major changes that are taking place globally and their impact on ports, with a single purpose: a more sustainable, secure and competitive port sector.

Achieving greater efficiency in the regional port system is our main objective. Uruguay assumes this new re-election and its responsibilities with great enthusiasm, commitment, dedication and devotion. I take this opportunity to extend a special greeting to the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CECIP), who will count on my support and assistance in all the instances he may require.
