Hemispheric cooperation for competitive, secure, sustainable and inclusive ports in the Americas.

Technical Assistance

One of the four main objectives of the Inter-American Committee for Ports (CIP) to assist Member States is to provide, whenever requested, technical assistance to national port authorities. The nature or level of technical assistance varies according to the individual needs, from the sharing of best practices to designing specific project profiles. Technical assistance has been provided to several Member States including Dominican Republic (on development of Port and Maritime 2030 strategy as well as on Port Legislation), St. Vincent and the Grenadines (also on port legislation), among others.
