The Republic of Panama continues to chair the Technical Advisory Group on Logistics Innovation and Competitiveness, in its commitment to maintain competitive, safe, inclusive and sustainable ports to ensure integral development in the Americas with the active participation of the private sector.

From this forum, we will continue our efforts to achieve the regional goals, emphasizing the unity of criteria and joint work, concretizing the plans for the improvement of human resources, strategic alliances, the implementation of state-of-the-art technologies, as well as the commitment of investors and the opening of new markets.

We wish to continue increasing competitiveness in the region, to establish in the member countries, areas for the development of logistics centers and supply chain support that provide value-added services throughout the world; and in this way work hard in the fulfillment of the objectives of a maritime strategy that has the capacities and conditions to attract investment in what refers to the port and logistics sector.
