Within the framework of the 14th Regular Meeting of the Committee held in Bridgetown, Barbados, Argentina was elected Chair of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on Logistics, Innovation, and Competitiveness.
The National Ports and Navigation Agency aims to place the national navigation system at the service of producers and foreign trade without restrictions.
Navigation is one of the pillars of global logistics and is of the highest importance to international trade. At the domestic level, multimodal logistics presents us with the challenge of integrating smart logistics chains, making the best possible use of each mode of transport.
To achieve optimal systems, technological innovation has already proven to be a strategic key in the global landscape, which is constantly evolving and continues to offer new opportunities for river and maritime transport.
The intelligent, coordinated, and, in many cases, combined use of the different logistics transport systems will enable each of our countries to achieve the competitiveness necessary to drive their commercial development.
At ANPYN, we assume this new commitment with the greatest sense of responsibility and with the certainty that, through the efforts of our counterparts from all CIP Member States, we will achieve robust growth in trade, logistics, and tourism, while maximizing exchange among private producers under the best possible conditions.

In this role, MARAD looks forward to working alongside our Chair, Argentina, in fostering high-level dialogue and equipping the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) with the robust technical expertise needed to modernize ports and enhance management capabilities. MARAD proudly supports making our region's ports secure, efficient, and competitive engines of economic prosperity for all Member States.
