Hemispheric cooperation for competitive, secure, sustainable and inclusive ports in the Americas.

Members

The Inter-American Committee for Ports (CIP) is comprised by all the member states of the Organization of American States (OAS), represented by the highest-level national governmental authorities from the port sector. Nine of these National Port Authorities are elected every two years to be part of the CIP’s Executive Committee (CECIP): one Chair, two Vice chairs, and, six Chairs for each of the CIP’s Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs).

In addition, the CIP community also brings together private sector firms, private ports and terminals, international organizations, and NGO’s as Associate Members or Strategic Partners. We work to provide concrete benefits all our members, focusing on strengthening institutional capacities through high level training of human resources.
