Rules of Procedure
The CIP Rules of Procedure were approved during the meeting on June 13, 2017 and in four chapters, it describes the nature, purpose, composition, functions, structure of the committee, amongst other relevant considerations to ensure the proper functioning of the organization in its endeavor to ensure competitive, secure, sustainable and inclusive ports in the Americas.
The CIP updated its Rules of Procedure to not only make them more streamlined and efficient, but also to change the periodicity of CIP political meetings from a biennial to a triennial calendar so as to match the cycle of Ministerial Meetings of the Inter-American Integral Development Council (CIDI).
