Capacity Building

Strengthening the institutional capacities of the CIP’s national port authorities through high quality human resource training is one of the four main objectives of the Inter-American Committee for Ports (CIP).

In order to achieve competitive, secure, sustainable and inclusive ports, the CIP promotes capacity building through its Scholarship and Training program. The program seeks to strengthen human resources in institutions by offering scholarships for certified professional development courses.
