Port Performance Indicators Documentation Mexico

Indicadores-P

The S/CIP in follow-up to the Montevideo Action Plan, specifically the work of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) on Competitiveness, Innovation and Logistics chaired by the Panama Maritime Authority (AMP), presents the document entitled “Port Indicators System: Methodology.”

This document contains the necessary methodology to determine 20 indicators of performance and productivity in the port area, specifically in Ship-Port Interface Indicators; Interface Port Operation in Terminals Indicators; and Interface Port-Hinterland Indicators. Prepared by the Mexican Institute of Transportation and the Ministry of Communications and Transportation of Mexico, it should be noted that this methodology is the one used by the government of Mexico since 2016 and it is shared with a view to collaborate in the task of unifying port performance indicators among CIP Member States.
