Natalia Pérez, Intern

Natalia Pérez is part of the internship program of the Organization of American States (OAS), through which she assists the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (CIP) in organizational, research and drafting aspects, among others.   

Previously, she worked at the Berta Cáceres Legal Clinic for Socio-Environmental Justice, where she was part of the team in charge of drafting the Advisory Opinion on Climate Emergency and Human Rights of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights. In addition, she worked as a Research Assistant for the Department of International Relations at Universidad Iberoamericana, and as an academic intern at the Center for Peace Research Mexico (CIPMEX).   

She studied International Relations at Universidad Iberoamericana where she graduated with Excellence, doing exchange studies at the Université Catholique de Lille, France, where she specialized in environment studies and international security. She is fluent in English and Spanish and has intermediate knowledge of French.
