From this new role, Uruguay will promote initiatives that encourage the exchange of knowledge, information, and best practices among the member countries and the regional port community, fostering technical dialogue and the development of shared solutions to the main challenges facing the sector. Likewise, opportunities for meetings and the exchange of experiences will be promoted to contribute to the updating of capacities, professionalization, and the incorporation of innovative technologies and tools for more efficient, safe, and sustainable management.
The election of Uruguay to chair this Gruop reaffirms the confidence of the CIP member countries and opens new opportunities to deepen international cooperation on these strategic topics. It will be an honor to exercise this Chairmanship together with the Vice Chair of the National Administration of Navigation and Ports of Paraguay.
