Port Security Management: Effective Management Techniques for Security Operations Improvement

On behalf of the Secretariat of the Inter-American Committee on Ports (S/CIP) of the Organization of American States (OAS), in collaboration with the Peru National Port Authority (APN) and the United States Coast Guard (USCG), I am pleased to announce the upcoming Online Course Port Security Management: Effective Techniques for Security Operations Improvement, to be held October 19 – November 13, on the APN Virtual Campus.

This course will address the management responsibilities of Port Security Directors, PFSOs and Operational Management personnel and provide participants with effective management techniques including risk assessment, stakeholder coordination, and security operations improvement.
